Stepping Out Club is a social club for adults with Learning Disabilities, who have a reasonable amount of independance. The club is run by its members and we actively encourage everyone to participate inthe decision making.
We meet every Monday, except for the second Monday of each month, from 7.30pm to 9pm. We do not meet on Bank Holiday Mondays.
We meet in Church House, Church Street, Dereham and it costs £1 to attend plus money for the tuck shop.
We try to organise a different activity for each meeting, this includes playing bingo and board games, going bowling and having music and craft sessions.
It is important for our members to integrate within the community, so we organise trips to the coast and support other organisations via sponsored walks. Most importantly it is a fun club and a great way to develop new friendships.
